Not bad for the third in the series...

Dexter is a lovable monster, and the saga continues in this book. Perhaps not as enjoyable as the first two, but I was not terribly disappointed in this one. The story line was quite different from the types of stories in the first two books, but this one was worth the read. I recommend reading the other two books first, though.

Dear Oh Dear Dexter

I put this review up once and now it's gone. Damn you, Amazon, I will have my say with this one! =D

As I wrote the first time, have you ever woke up from a crazy dream rolled over to your partner and said, "I just had the craziest dream! There was a fairy in the forest with big lips and red eyes, but it was scary ..." And your partner interrupts with, "A scary fairy?" And you're like, "No, no ..." and go on to talk about a dream that as you hear it, isn't interesting or worth sharing. In a nutshell, this is "Dexter in the Dark."

Showtime and specifically Michael C. Hall have captured "Dexter" with such amazing talent, in my opinion, the books don't even compare, but this one was downright off the wall.

I believe Lindsay lost his way or had a really strange idea and at the time, yeah, it sounded great and all, but it just wasn't. Leave the gods to their heavens (or hells) and let a brilliant vigilante just do what needs to be done without the need for insane explanation.
