One of the Best

I think this is a great book for 5 and under because the message is so simple. True, babies do not drop out of trees, but the overall message is clear. A mommy yearns to care for a baby and a baby needs the love and attention of a mommy. While there is no mention of either a birth-father or Dad-roo, it doesn't matter. It is a book written by a mom for her children and that is the way message is conveyed. I believe the concept of the "dad's" can be inferred even by a young child. It is one of the few books that reach out to all kinds of adoptions.

Truly A Blessing!

This book is terrific! My 3 year old asks me to read it over and over. She may not understand the concept yet, but it is surely one of the beginning steps. It is very simple and thus enjoyable and appropriate for young children.

God's Blessing to the Adoption Process

This book makes clear that God agrees with adoptions and answered the mother kangaroo's prayers. It is a gentle way to introduce the concept to your child of what adotion really is. It also beautifully includes the birth mother concept.

Great Book for all children!!!

This is a great book for all children especially adopted children. My kids love the book!
