This is a fantastic addition to the Sookie Stackhouse novels. It was full of action and intrigue. I can't wait until the next one!

Series just gets better

Most series start to fade by the seventh or eighth book, leaving me wondering how much longer the author will drag it out. Not so for this one. In fact, Harris has given the plot a twist or two that should provide substance for some intriguing developments in future books. Terrific fantasy that rarely lags...can't recommend it more highly.

Leaves me wanting more Sookie...

I hope that there is more Sookie Stackhouse in the future. If I knew it was going to be over so soon, I would have read slower.

A Strange Installment for Sookie Fans

I didn't enjoy this book as much as I have enjoyed the other Sookie books. It seemed to have no coherent story line, just a series of tying up loose ends, and maybe alluding to the next book. More like missing chapters from the other books or short stories ran together into a novel. It just jumped from place to place and was a little hard to follow at times. I still like the universe, but this installment left me strangely unsettled and a little disapointed.

Good, but was there a chapter missing?

"From Dead to Worse" is the first book I downloaded on my new Kindle. The book wasn't as great as the previous 7, but still good none-the-less. My only complaint is that I did feel like there should have been one more chapter. It seemed as if there were too many loose ends this time around. Hopefully that means that book #9 is coming soon. I am very happy that (SPOILER) Eric got his memory back though, I'm a big Sookie/Eric fan!
