Rev. Stefanachi Macomb must have a soul truly touched by God, she writes with such a soothing, spiritual sense that, as you read- you feel as if she is holding your hand and reading the book to you.A definite must have! Not only for those who are in an intercultural or interfaith relationship, but for family members, friends or just anyone that loves to love.A book that will truly warm your heart, touch the inner-most parts of your soul and make you sing and believe in angels.
Joining hands and hearts...is an inspiration to our entire immediate family and many friends. We wanted a truly different and unique celebration of love, and we found all the elements - and terrific readings within the book. The "menu of ceremonials" Reverend Mccomb provides within her book are marvelous (some may even bring a tear to your eye). Her ideas are easy to understand, useful to implement. Through the stories of happily married couples highlighted within the book, the Reverend shares her experiences and those of her lucky couples as they take the planning steps and final vows.
Regardless of whether or not you are having a religious, non-religion or spiritual celebration this book is one that you MUST read. The journey you embark on by reading is wonderful. The inclusiveness, the openess and the process that Reverend Mccomb gets you to focus on up through the actual ceremony helps you to understand what makes you a special couple and gives you all the confidence you may/may not need to announce to the world you are in LOVE and it is OKAY (its very enlightening, revealing and fun...even for the grooms !)
This book teaches us to keep our hearts open. It is a gift in this troubled world!
