As a physiognomist (face reader) I read every book I can find on face reading, but nothing I have seen comes close to The Power of Face Reading, except, perhaps, Rosetree's previous book, I Can Read Your Face.

WONDERFUL SPRINGBOARD FOR SELF STUDY AND CONVERSATION

TEN YEARS AGO ROSE'S ORIGINAL FACE READING BOOK WAS GIVEN TO ME. MY HUSBAND AND I TOOK IT ON VACATION TO A CAMPOUT WITH SOME FAMILY MEMBERS. WE TOOK TURNS READING SECTIONS AND LOOKING AT EACH OTHER CLOSELY . WE HAD SO MUCH FUN LOOKING AT AND DISCUSSING FEATURES THAT WE BEGAN TO SHARE IN MORE PERSONAL AND MEANINGFUL CONVERSATIONS. I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR YOUR BOOK FOR YEARS. THIS BOOK WOULD BE ESPECIALLY GOOD FOR INITIATING CONVERSATIONS WITH TEENAGERS WHO ARE SO VERY AWARE OF THEIR LOOKS AND LIKE TO TALK ABOUT THEMSELVES . In regards to subject matter being Nonsense

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. As someone who reads, studies and collects books on this subject I found the review written by person from New York with no email address interesting. Anyone who studies this subject and astrology for that matter, more than just sparse study would agree there are reasons for validity. I would just like to state we all "Read Faces" even if we have not read this or other books. When in public how many people do you look at and can just tell they are not a person to mess with or anger. Or have an "Honest face". A person with a "Mean" face usually has a "Mean spirited nature" or at least we make an initial judgement in this direction. It is human nature to look at someone and size them up so to speak. It is the open minded person that will get to know them and not act on the "First impression." As far as Asians and other cultures if one were to actually read this book and others on this subject you would find that you read their faces according to their race and how to do so. I loved this book and in my opinion Physiognomy is a fascinating study. PS> Has anyone else noticed that most Newscasters and politicians have thin upper lips?? Coincidence or related reasons?!
