Grandson Delighted

I can not say enough about the excitement my Grandson showed in reading this book. He reads it over and over. He loves the farm and the animals and this story fits into his plan to be a farmer. (He is only 5).

This a gift for anyone who is having a bad day. There is no way your spirits aren't lifted after reading this.

My kids love this book and so do I.
.

Fun for grown-ups, too

There's a contest in my household for who loves this book the most. Right now it's a tie between the father and the 4-year-old. Either way, everyone wins because they spend time together reading and laughing.

Great Story, it entertained me anyway. Good for older kids.

The book certainly entertained me. But I had to explain what a typewriter was to my son ("it's what they used before computers." "but where's the screen?" "there is no screen."... and so on). I also don't think my 4 year old understands the concept of going on strike... so perhaps this book actually is more for me than for him. He just likes being read to I think.

If you want a book that YOU aren't bored reading, this is a good one. If you are looking for something for your kids... maybe skip this one until they are a little older than 4.

Cute story, but not a lot of educational value...

This book has a very cute story - typing cows, cold chickens, a mediating duck, and a baffled farmer... Click, Clack, Moo will probably be a classic. But I look for a little more in my children's stories. I prefer more opportunities for my child to learn new vocabulary and/or have better models of interpersonal behavior. It's an interesting introduction to negotiation, too, which makes me wonder if this is a story I want my child to emulate. As an adult, I think the story is humorous. But as a parent, I don't think it measures up to what I'm looking for.
