Amazing Obsession

I heard Duffy on a Luftansa soundtrack two moths ago (Stepping Stone). I was blown away by this voice and searched in vain. Then I heard this song coverered in a Munich club by a Duffy look alike. I finally was able to hunt her down and am very glad I did. I am a huge Dusty Springfield fan and this artist is a gem who will only grow in importance as her career advances.

I fear for Amy Winehouse, another big talent, but I see Duffy as the real deal. May she have great success. There is not a bad track on this whole CD.

My wife loves this album. We've been listening to it more than once every day for a week.

One of 2008's Best Albums!!!

I am in love with Duffy! The vocie, the sound, the lyrics, the mood - this is by FAR one of the best albums to come out in 2008. The 60's Soul music sound works perfectly with Duffy's sultry voice. Although I usually only listen to country music and Big Band/Easy Listening (such as Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble), Duffy has been on repeat, non-stop, since I bought her cd.

Favorite Songs: Hanging On Too Long, Stepping Stone, Warwick Avenue, Delayed Devotion and I'm Scared.

Short CD but good

I bought this on a whim, and although very good, it's different than I expected. Almost all the songs are ballad-like, and it's a short-ish CD. But she is still very entertaining, and you will be singing the songs for a while!
