Great 'bang for your buck' HDTV

The Samsung LN52A550 is one of the best 'bang for your buck' TVs you can find today. 1080p with great color and matte screen for low reflections. The only thing better would be the 630 or 650 with 120Hz/AMP but they may not be worth the cost adder for some.

I JUST GOT MY NEW SAMMY AND IT IS GREAT BETTER THAN EXPECTED WHEN YOU FIND THE WRIGHT SETTINGS . I WATCHED WALLI ON BLUE RAY AND WOW ITS AMAZING. THE TECHNOLOGY TODAY WE R VERY LUCKY TO BE APART OF THIS GENERATION OF TVS VIDEO GAMES AND ALL ELECTRONICS. ANYWAY I JUST WANTED TO ADD I UPGRADED TO THIS TV FROM A 42" 720P PLASMA ALSO SAMSUNG GREAT TV ALSO BUT LET ME SAY MONEY WELL SPENT WITH THE LN52A550 VERY SHARP HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Samsung Ln52a550 LCD HDTV

Great LCD TV. Bought this from Warehouse deals for a GREAT PRICE! There were just some slight smudge marks on the screen border and stand from the stickers that mostly came off with some cleaner. I also own the LN46a550 and my family and I love both! Great TV for every day viewing including sports!!!

Do yourself the favor and just buy it!

TV was delivered via PILOT. They just brought the TV into the house. I had to ask them to unpack it. I inspected it then signed off the form. They did not wait for me to check to see if it worked or not. Luckily, everything went well. NO TIP FOR THOSE GUYS!

Stunning!

An absolutely beautiful television. The detail and clarity are amazing, the set-up couldn't be simpler, and changing settings and channels on the menu is childsplay. I received a free Samsung Blu-Ray player (BD1500) with this TV and it works beautifully on all my existing DVDs, even my DVD+Rs. The HDMI interface between the TV and player is really cool as the TV and Blu-Ray player functionality are highly interlinked with the Samsung "Anynet" functionality. Cool stuff. No HDMI cables included, but you don't have to shell out $30-$50 for one. I went to [...]and got a 1.3 cable for[...]. And the in-house delivery is great too.

Good choice for the money

I have owned this television for three weeks. The picture quality is top notch when viewing an HD signal. There are two items that have been minor disappointments. 1. The PIP only works with an analog signal. I didn't realize this before I made the purchase. 2. When watching football the image sometimes has a hard time keeping up with the action and you will see a partially blurred picture. This set is great for watching movies and regular television however.
