The Most Dangerous Man in America... 
to the establishment that is. I was a committed Republican until Ron Paul changed my world-view. Not that others before hadn't tried. I've read countless books in this genre. Possibly the seeds of discontent were sown by those before. But ultimately, this book was the break-point. Dr.Paul elegantly builds a case for Libertarianism that is impossible to ignore if one is intellectually honest.
This book belongs on the shelf of every red-blooded American. Right next to the Bible and the Constitution. This is the future of America if she ever wishes to become greater than she ever has been before. If not, we may well surpass the Romans in history for the speed with which we destroyed the greatest empire to ever grace this planet. Coincidentally, the Pax Romana was only about 200 years also.
There's a reason we call Republicans and Democrats right-wing and left wing. It's because they are just different sides of the same animal, selfishly serving itself at the expense of the masses. Ron Paul was the REAL candidate of change and hope. This is sort of a confession coming from someone who listened to the media and therefore missed out on a chance to vote for what may be the last true patriot left in Washington.

Ron Paul should be President! No doubt in my mind after reading this book. Buy the book and find out for yourself, it's definitely worth the money and time spent!
Great Book
I didn't know anything about libertarian politics before I bought the book. Now I'm a total convert. In the book Paul briefly explains why America needs to (1) end the unconstitutional Federal Reserve, (2) restore the gold standard, (3) reduce entitlements, (4) end the war in Iraq, (5) cut taxes, and (6) reduce the size of government. He has a reading list at the end and he recommends "Economics in One Lesson" by Henry Hazlitt. If you want to understand economics, politics, and how to save America in about 4 hours, get those two books and read them (I think you can actually download them both free from mises.org or the free books project.)Economics in One Lesson: 50th Anniversary Edition
An awakening!
This man woke me up to what I've believed all my life but didn't know it! His ideas are a complete breath of fresh air, and this book encapsalates his ideas perfectly.
My belief is simply that most American's would agree with 95% of these "revolutionary" ideas which this book brings forth, but we don't here them anywhere else in the mainstream media. Even after Ron Paul's amazing run for the GOP nomination, most people don't REALLY understand what he stood for. Because of that, I've decided to buy one of these books for everyone in my family.
A must read to prepare for the 2012 election, whomever may be running then!
Very welcome information
What I liked most about Dr. Paul's book is his description of what goes on in Washington, based on observations during his many years in the House of Representatives. Many members of Congress are actually criminals, and both presidents and their staff have broken laws many times. Meanwhile, the "neocons" are using the Republican Party to fight Israel's enemies on false charges. These people should be in jail, yet they escape punishment because they have the power and collaborate with the top media owners. Chilling. With that in mind there is no choice, you have to blow the whistle and try to oppose what is going on.
