Great disposable printer

The ink cartridges that come with the printer have very little ink, be sure to purchase new cartridges asap. We replaced our's within a week, using this printer in a normal way. YMMV.

great price + cheap ink

HP's have always done wonders for me. The F4820 is my second All-in-one, and fourth HP printer since windows 97. Only reason I bought this is because my PSC 2110 broke. Have never had an HP break on me (they just become obsolete). Big pluses for this printer are its multi-functionality and cheap ink. The two cartridges (both HP 60 black and tri)in a combo pack are about $35 with tax while my older cartridges were about 30 separately. Only problems out of the box were missing .dll files which can be fixed if you google for instructions on the specific dlls. This seems to only affect a few windows users because of special corporate editions of windows or workstations. Only thing that really bothers me is there is no divider tray to catch prints like my PSC had. I bought this over a brother Printer, fax, copier, scanner for about 10-15 dollars less. There is a problem with their ink which is for another review.

Great Little Printer

My wife needed a printer and I bought this one because of the features and low cost. It is a great little printer, copier - it is clean looking, quiet, easy to use. My wife is very happy.

Hardware connecting problem

Would not connect to my computer. After 5+ contacts with HP.
and several hours of work, someone finally told me to use a different driver for another printer. I still get a message that my computer still
has found a new printer (the original).
