Great...But Why!!
It a graet
expansion
to an already great game but it makes me think that all these expansions are pointless. I mean why couldnt they just put it on the game. but anyway great expansion!!
Rollercoaster Tycoon 3: Soaked! Expansion
Great game! The waterslides and swimming pools have great detail!
Excellent, uber-fun, but hard to install
Really fun. It needs some of these things though:
Capped Ring/Raft Slide
Kiddie Area
Splash Pool (peeps get into your splash pools, thinking they're regular pools!)
Goggles
Conveyorbelts
More Ride Events
But I wanted an octopus ride REALLY, and I am planning on getting WILD soon.

Soaked!
While one major wish of mine was fulfilled in the coaster cam, another was fulfilled with the
Soaked
!
expansion
. Finally we can add thrilling waterslides to custom made waterparks that mesh right in with the dry end of the amusement park. I was really excited when this was released and tore right into it. Immediately you will notice (as with the original RCT3 title) that the pools have a lot of possibilities. Stairs, walkways, spas, and other attractions make even a highly themed waterpark possible. It is easy to set it in a jungle, the future, a big city, or any number of other theming options.
The waterslides are easy and relatively inexpensive to construct. The only thing that is disappointing is that in order to make them exciting, they require series of turns, dips, and the like. A freefall (even from hundreds of feet) just doesn't do it for our peep friends. Other than that you are free to send them flying down a handful of varieties of white water rides.
The scenarios are of medium difficulty for the most part. A few towards the end were slightly challenging, but a little inguinuity goes a long way in this expansion pack. I must admit though, I beat several scenarios before I noticed that peeps will pay handsome fees to enter pool complexes, provided they feature exciting rides and large enough pools. The pool complexes are the most important part of most of the scenarios income, so go ahead, raise those prices (to the upwards of eleven or twelve dollars), it will make you successful.
Another thing that makes buying an expansion pack worthwhile is the improvements it brings to the features of the original games. Soaked! has improved tunnels a great deal, which is awesome news considering the original RCT3 was lacking in that department. It is probable that the newer expansions will continue to improve and extend this interface. There are also other minor improvements as well.
Overall I found Soaked! to be very worthwhile as an expansion pack. It introduced a whole new series of attractions as well as improved the basic design of RCT3. It is almost a must for any RCT3 fan.

Not that good for an expansion pack
This game isn't that good. The worst thing is that the waterslides don't have enough pieces, passenger types (for example, a single tube), and slide types. But I really like it that you can create tunnels and create underwater paths! The aquarium is not very good at all. It has a crappy amount and variety of fish tanks and pieces. Why couldn't Atari put in escalator paths for the aquariums or add more fish tanks with giant squids or octopuses? The waterfall feature is really cool! Then you can make
rollercoaster
s go through them and get all the peeps
soaked
from head to toe! Another thing that is bad about this game is if you change the Giant Flume's train car colors, it will just stay the same color all the time! Then you can't make a detailed replica of Canobie Lake Park's Boston Tea Party! Too bad Canobie fans! And one last thing is, get RCT3: Wild
expansion
pack after you get this, so you can double the RCT3 fun!
