Excellent mixer

I've been wanting a KitchenAid mixer for at least 20 years. A few months ago, our old mixer finally died, and I bought the Artisan. I couldn't be more pleased. Sturdy, quiet, efficient, it fully met my high expectations. I'm still fascinated with how quickly I can whip cream with it. A tried and true design, very well engineered, it's easy to see why all the top chefs use this mixer on their shows and why Consumer Reports speaks so highly of it. I got it for a good price during the holiday season, with a free cookbook, so I'm doubly pleased.

My Wife is extremely pleased with her new mixer. She has wanted one for quite awhile and now she has it. It does all she had expected and more. definitely worth the money.

Awesome Mixer!!

I purchased this mixer in May of 2008 and have been using it almost weekly since then. I have never been an avid baker but after making a cake completely from scratch for my husband's birthday using my old hand mixer I realized that it was worthless. I decided to take the plunge and purchase this mixer and have absolutely no regrets. Now I bake something new on a weekly basis and LOVE making bread, rolls, cakes, etc. from scratch. The dough hook does all the work for you and makes bread making enjoyable and it doesn't take nearly as long. I highly recommend this product and the quality and durability makes it worth the cost!
