Wouldn't own the 40D without this guide. A must have! Esp for the amateur. Still advised for pro and amateur alike.

David Busch explains 40D very well

I chose this book at recommendations of book buyers as well as Canon forum contributers and am not sorry. I recently bought the Canon 40D DSLR from Amazon and bought this book at same time as an introduction to the camera's use. Factory manuals often are too brief and dry (okay for later reference).
