Must play
I loved it! :o) The food part is kind of boring, but other than that it was fun.
Big Improvment
Alothough this game was a big improvement from the Creature of Kapu Cave, it wasn't as fun as I thought it would be. Every morning you have to make beds, collect towels, and you have to cook 3 challenging meals. You also have to hit this annoying little girl with ten snowballs before passing to get to the lake and bunkhouse. However, I found the setting of the game very interesting. I also liked the new setup. I took about a day for me to ajust to it though. Another thing i found annoying was the fact that you had to dial the numbers instead of just clicking on their name and the game dials for you. It is a fun game but it was sort of challenging to play that dreadful, horrid fox and geese game--three freaking times. Overall the game was fun, like driving the snow mobile, giving the
wolf
commands, and investigating. I have played all sixteen and i highly recomend this one!!! It was very fun. Although that stupid fox and geese game was hard, it gave me a chance to ask my dad for help like i did on the first game, so i guess it is a game for everyone to enjoy. I liked this game even though i wrote mainly about the bad, i just thought i'd tell you what the box doesn't :)

Nancy Drew-Detective or Cook???!?
I love the
Nancy
Drew
games and find them fun, but challenging! This one was more on the challenging side and less on the fun. When I say challenging I mean tediously annoying! First of all, I thought Nancy Drew was a detective not a maid and cook. It is very time consuming to have to cook meals for 6 every 4 hours. You put too many slices of lettuce on a burger and you have to start all over again. Also, this Nancy game seemed a bit too far fetched. How does winning one game 3 times in the lodge make something happen to a map in the needle, 2 miles away? I don't know how I would have gotten through this without a cheat sheet. I found myself looking at it time and time again to figure out how to do some mindless game. And don't even get me started on the ending! I think real snowmobiling is easier to do then the computer animated version!

Nancy must get tired sometime!
I just bought this game, expecting a wonderful masterpiece. In some ways, it is wonderful--such as the graphics. Despite the fact that the snow looks strangely fake, the graphics--people included--are very well done. The storyline (though I haven't gotten far) is all right so far. But my biggest gripe is that
Nancy
has to go wandering around like a ghost in the middle of the night while everyone else is asleep! I've read a review that talks about 'resetting the clock and sleeping'; well, I haven't figured that out yet. All Nancy did for her first day there was search for the well-camoflouged door to the basement, then wander and wander and wander until it became purely annoying. When I checked out her alarm clock all I could do was set the alarm, which DIDN'T go off when it reached the time I set it to. It just doesn't make any sense. The new layout is also frustrating--does it make sense to go RIGHT to a new game as soon as you start up? Whatever happened to the old-but-good menu?! Just because this game was made for XP/Vista doesn't mean it has to be just plain stupid. Other than those annoying moments (as well as the lisping idiot in the snow fort) this game is just average.
