The Bluest Skies Revisited

My daughter bought me this DVD set for Mother's Day last year and it is one of my most treasured gifts. I was head-over-heels for Bobby Sherman when this series was on television. Once I opened it, I watched the entire season straight through. Some of the episodes I remembered, but through them all I smiled ear to ear. And when the show began in my DVD player I actually remembered the words to the theme song! It made me feel like this 50 year old was 11 or 12 again. The quality of each episode is amazing. The Bluest Skies might be in Seattle, but for me they are right here in North Carolina now! I hope Season 2 will be released soon.

The Brides

Thank you for making this product available! One of my favorite shows of all time. I'm waiting on Season 2!

WELL WORTH THE WAIT

Brides 1st season brought back memories I thought I'd lost forever. As I watched one of my favorite episodes for the first time in over 35 years, I realized I was speaking some of the lines word for word along with the actors! It was as if I was watching reruns and not what I thought was going to be a lost treasure from my youth. I fell in love with Candy, Jeremy and Captain Clancey all over again and can't wait until Season 2 is released. Thank God for the classics and DVD's!

Great Family Entertainment

There are not many shows left that a family can sit down together and comfortably enjoy without being flashed with immorality, violence or prejudice. Here Come the Brides is entertaining, funny and clean. It promotes working together, working things out without violence, forgiveness and good old Christian family values. I highly recommend it for anyone who still desires good clean entertainment without the offensive contents of so many of the shows and movies produced today.

HXTB DVD

Found all the comments interesting. For some reason, I'd been thinking of HTCB again and lo and behold, discovered the first season was on DVD, so of course, I jumped on it. I haven't gotten it yet but I know I'll give it five stars. I can't believe the show was only on two seasons because it made such a big impact on me, esp. the episodes that featured Joshua...which weren't ever enough for me! I was crazy for the only blonde-haired Bolt Brother! Unbelievably cute with a touch of temper...the classic middle child syndrome. I can't wait to watch the DVD to see if the episodes that I remember are as I remember them. I am disappointed to hear that the beautiful theme song isn't included. Maybe I'm smoking crack, but I could have sworn Perry Como sang that song. Don't know who he is - ask your folks. I finally got the opportunity to see Seattle which always seemed like mecca - like I felt about Tucson because of High Chapparal which I agree, bring that out on DVD. I sense a blonde-haired blue-eyed theme here except for my huge crush on Paul McCartney...how much fun to relive my girlhood crushes!
