Espresso Glasses

I wish they came in a set of 4, but after receiving them, I might have to order another set of 2! Great for a dinner party. (Makes for a fun piece of conversation) Nice quality, as I've generally found with most Bodum products. Would definitely purchase as a gift for someone as well! They look great, are glass blown, AND dishwasher safe.

Pleasantly surprised!

I ordered a set of these because they look cool and I need constant "watering" when I'm at my computer all day and well because I have a short attention span and when I remember there is a beverage next to me it's usually lukewarm by the time my memory kicks in (grins).

Well these glasses do exactly what the promise to do. Keep your drink either hotter or colder longer than a regular glass (but no they are not a thermos jug).

My one concern was the comments some made about them breaking. So they have been handwashed until one day, my BF put them in a fully loaded dishwasher! I was totally freaked out thinking there would be glass everywhere (his attention span is shorter than mine. I told him several times to set them aside for hand washing).

Anyway..no breaks or cracks at all so now they go in the dishwasher all the time and I've had no issues with that.

Ever since I found out they were not delicate as I believed..I've ordered many more sets and gave the old glasses to my BF to take home with him so he can stop polluting the planet with his danged plastic cups.

PS. they are so nicely priced that when I order some in other sizes...I used a couple to put colored rocks or small plants in..looks as if whatever in them is floating so I use them for decorating too

Great looks, outstanding performance

Not a whole lot you can write. They are just glasses after all. I use for espresso only, although I can see they'd work great for shots - especially layerd liquors. Instant conversation piece as the espresso sits "suspended" inside the outer glass.

Most important, you can sip the espresso as it really keeps it warm for quite a while. I don't even bother to preheat the inner glass. I generally make about a 2oz espresso, which with the crema fills it pretty much. If you push 3oz you'll overflow.

Attractive and temperature retentive

Very attractive and novel glasses in this Bodum Pavina line, which keep hot hot and cold cold, while leaving one's hands at room temperature. Pretty sturdy, but like all glasses, don't drop 'em.

these break easy. Amazon rocks, sent replacement 2 day shipping. Careful, bodum does not warrant any of their glass products. Still, nice shot of espresso looks great coming to the table in these glasses. so far dishwasher safe. just be careful if you're stirring in them...
