I saw a review of this knife in a well-known cooking and kitchen-product testing magazine: it got high marks for stability, effectiveness, and price, if I recall correctly. I'm not about to get married anytime soon, so I figured the only way to get a good knife was to buy one myself. I bought this knife to see what this knife line was all about. It's invincible! this IS the knife can't think of anything better than this knife. well, maybe a 10" to keep it company. Awesome! What a great knife! it preforms very well, have not needed to sharpen it yet, and was super sharp right out of the packaging! this knife handles everything i throw at it! the blade is great, the grip though plastic has a great textured nonslip surface, and its a great size for most kitchen tasks! for the price its a great value, its also the top rated knife on the test kitchen show and they use it all the time on the show, this knife and the paring knives, look closely next time and youll see! you will like this knife!  for more information click here Just my 2 cents As if this needs any more praises, but I will give it nonetheless. Great knife! I was skeptical at first, but using a huge watermelon as a test subject, I saw the difference between this and my current knives.
