Works excellent, both sides of conversation are clear using the peripheral TP-7 mic cable. The DS-40 is worth the extra expense for the ability to connect the USB seamlessly to drag and drop the 'non-proprietary file format' WMA files to a PC.

Took camera on a month long trip to Central and South America and it performed wonderfully. I used it many times under water and the pictures came out really good. I also "bumped" it a few times and since it is shock-proof, no harm done. Highly recommend it.

I use this lens as my "other macro". When i need to get a close-up shot without needing to get in close this is the lens to go to. It may not provide enough speed but then again if you're on a tight budget this is the next best option.
