Objective, Burma!
Raoul Walsh's tight, pounding "Burma" is one of the best WWII films out there, and reportedly one of Flynn's personal favorites. It should be, as the swashbuckling star turns in a gritty, first-rate performance as the intrepid Nelson, with worthy support from Hull as ...

One of the best movies for adults based on the children's book
I consider it one of the sweetest movie ever. The entire novel is so different, that it's should be a required reading / watching for both children and adults. Yes, it's a fantasy, but now days bards still sing about the Little Prince and his "dependants". Also, ...

Thirsty for a good western? Here it is.
This is a great western. Nontraditional? Yes, but in a good way. The story is a quick tale of revenge and regret. A window into how a man's soul can be spoiled be hate and greed. All in all, not a bad example of the 60s western. I would suggest everyone see this one.

Superb concert recording
If, like me, you have missed Cat Stevens music in your life these past 30 years, then this is a MUST HAVE DVD. All the great songs are done well, with a great backup band and several solo numbers. The DTS and Dolby 5:1 sound is superb for a mid-1970's recording, and ...

please don't underestimate
I loved this movie as a kid, and while I remember it being frightening in some moments and certainly sad at others, it definitely didn't scar me for life. It's a thoughtful movie, and it stuck with me through the years, so I stand by it. Long live Winnie and no, ...

One of Errol Flynn's Best Films
OBJECTIVE, BURMA! is a first rate quality production and I think one of Errol Flynn's best films. I think Errol Flynn's perception as a good actor was greatly undermined by the very transcendence of his good looks and screen presence. In OBJECTIVE BURMA Errol Flynn ...
