Great Pictures!
I really enjoyed this book. The author collected many great old pictures of the railroad depots a few of which are no longer standing. Lots of good research and interesting story telling.

Do You Like Railroad Stations?
I was born and raised in the farming community of Archbold in northwestern Ohio. Both my father and my grandfather were railroad enthusiasts and they passed this "affliction" on to me too! From 1948 until about 1970, I have probably visited everyone of the depots ...

Excellent work -- the new standard; well illustrated.
Another great Roadside Geology work, this time better than most. Who would have thought that Indiana geology could come alive like this? The book is so well illustrated with maps, photographs and drawings that it is fun just to flip through. At the same time, there ...

Cleveland was the hub of railroad activity, and important rail-served lake ports developed at Ashtabula, Conneaut, Fairport Harbor, Huron, and Lorain. Akron became a center of southerly east?west lines. Over 310 ...
