This book saved me!
My physiology teacher wasn't the best, so I was VERY glad to have this book. It's very concise, yet extraordinarily well explained, with helpful illustrations. I'm not sure what I would have done this semester without it! Highly recommended.

Excellent Read
The book was a little too boardly based. It covers US and Japanese relations from the 1850s to the end of WWII. But it was wonderfully engaging and any history/WWII reader will greatly enjoy it.
